CARBON TRUST - ENERGY GENERATING BILLBOARD
The London Underground is well known as a windy environment. This innovative billboard harnesses the 'whoosh' produced by tube trains as they pass through the station. It then turns this wasted energy back into reusable energy.
As well as powering the billboard, the recycled energy created is put back into the grid helping the environment and saving TFL money.
Whilst swiping out at the ticket barrier, randomly selected commuters will discover that their journey was actually free thanks to the recycled energy. Customer take out would be that TFL are committed to cleaning up the city’s transport system.

This campaign aims to persuade people to seek medical advice to gain the potential benefits of early diagnosis.
A special printing technique allowed us to print over a normal Metro newspaper. When the light hits the page the ink comes to life, fading up to simulate a memory black out. Whited out areas hold the copy.

View before and after exposure to light / page of newspaper opened. It fades quite slowly so you have time to notice the change.
